Best Practices Day 2022:
Call for Abstracts is now open!

Best Practices Day 2022 gathers clinicians, administrators and researchers from across sectors and disciplines for a day of networking and learning. Take advantage of this opportunity to share your latest initiative, project or study outcomes.

Submit an abstract for a presentation* through our online system, no later than December 20, 2021. Printable instructions can be found here

Please note the guidelines regarding the format of an abstract (e.g. subheadings and length) must be followed. Failure to do so may result in the ineligibility of your abstract for consideration.

*Types of Presentations:

All rehabilitation-related abstracts will be considered and must reflect projects/initiatives completed by the conference date (including full analysis and conclusions). Authors are invited to submit an abstract for one of the following:

  1. Rapid Podium presentations: 8-minute long presentations given to the entire plenary session, followed by a brief question period.
  2. Concurrent Session presentations: 30-minute long presentations provided as break-out sessions.
  3. Poster presentations: Posters must relate to rehabilitative care but do not need to be limited to the conference theme.

For tips on how to prepare your presentation, see the Presentation Guideline

All Rapid Podium and Poster presentations will be eligible for the awards competition, as selected by the audience through online voting. Awards will be given to:

  • The top three posters of those categorized as Abstracts of Distinction (previously determined by the conference planning committee)
  • The top rapid podium presentation
