We are pleased to announce that Emmi Perkins has joined the Rehabilitative Care Alliance as Project Manager in support of the GTA Rehab Network's secretariat role with the collaborative. Emmi is currently the Waterloo Wellington Rehabilitative Care System Coordinator where she has led multiple system initiatives including service reviews, evidence-based cross-continuum system improvements and LHIN stroke integration and implementation of multiple resource reallocation projects. Emmi brings extensive experience leading transformational change with a strong commitment to effective change management, strategic communication and collaborative relationship building amongst diverse stakeholders. As she assumes her new role with the Alliance, Emmi will continue her work in Waterloo Wellington one day a week.

Sue Balogh, Project Manager with the GTA Rehab Network, will apply her significant knowledge and experience in the acute care, rehabilitation and community sectors to her support role with the Rehabilitative Care Alliance. Sue, who has been with the Network since 2004, has a solid track record for working with multiple stakeholders, fostering input, addressing identified needs and concerns, and facilitating consensus. She has worked on numerous initiatives including development of a conceptual rehabilitation definitions framework and population frameworks, and standardized rehab referral forms for inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and has been instrumental in supporting the implementation of new referral processes to outpatient rehabilitation programs for patients post total joint replacement. We look forward to Sue's valued contribution to the Alliance while she continues to fulfull her ongoing responsibilities with the Network.
